General Overview

Ingeborg® is an engineered calcium silicate board made mainly from natural organic ore and cellulose fibres that has gone through a long process of advance technology of autoclave. There is no asbestos, brucite and meerschaum in the formulation of Ingeborg®. It is a low density, high performance fire rating board that meets the building structure regulation requirement for compartment wall, partitioning and ventilation system.

Ingeborg® comes in off white finish with a decorative smooth finish on both surfaces and can be easily applicable with interior paint finishes or left undecorated according to site requirement.

Ingeborg® is a user friendly product that makes system installation easy and convenient with good screw holding qualities and no pre-drilling of holes required. It has a high resistance for moisture and humidity that does not affect the fire resistant and mechanical properties when in use.

Ingeborg® comes in standard pieces of 2440mmL x 1220mmW in 9, 12, 15, 20 & 24 mm thickness meeting the fire test on building materials and structure, BS476. It is to be placed and stacked on pallets for ease of warehousing and transportation. The board is not classified as a dangerous substance; no provisions are required regarding the carriage and the disposal of the board. It is, however, to be disposed-off by a registered contractor together with other general building material waste.
